Cocktails, foraging & folktales in Tower Hamlets

If you’ve never been to Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, can I suggest a visit? If you have been, but never in the company of the MindInNature crew, then allow me to recommend another trip.

S and I had never been before, but this sprawling cemetery and woodland, nestled in the urban sprawl of Tower Hamlets is captivating. Gravestones line the paths and stretch back into the trees, while open spaces provide parkland tinged with just the right mix of magic and gothic ambience.

We were there for MindInNature’s Cocktails, Folktales & Foraging event, an evening walking tour of the park which begins with a cocktail made with foraged ingredients, takes you on a tour of the plants you can forage in the park (there are loads) and then finishes around a roaring campfire with more drinks and some folktales.

It’s an incredible evening if you are a fan of any or all of cocktails, foraging and folktales, and you can find out all the details yourself, as well as other courses from the MindInNature team right here: https://bit.ly/3F0q0J1
